Attorney Jane Welhouse Stebbins graduated from North Bend in 1999. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in Music and Drama from the University of Portland, and went on to get her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law. Ms. Stebbins started her law career working with the Fulton County Public Defender Conflicts Office as a third year law student, then went to work in Criminal Defense for King, King and Jones in Atlanta.
Stebbins returned to the Coos in 2013 to work for Jim Coffey and her father, Mike Stebbins. Since then she has immersed herself in work for local government; including Special Districts, Cities and Non-profits, as well as helping individuals navigate the probate court.
Stebbins spends her time away from the office making art and herbal concoctions or snuggling dogs, goats, and her partner Kevin.

William grew up here in the Coos, active in the local writing and fine arts community even as a child. More recently, he went to Santa Fe, New Mexico to obtain his degree from St. John's University. Fresh from the desert, he joins Stebbins & Company as receptionist. When he's not providing exceptional customer service to clients, William enjoys reading, writing and hiking.

Diesel is in training to be the next morale officer here at Stebbins and Company. He'll get his commission when he stops trying to "sneak" onto the laps of clients he's attempting to comfort.

Legal Assistant and Probate Queen
Shayny joined the firm in February of 2022 and hit the ground running as our Accounts Manager. Shayny recently earned her Masters in Forensic Accounting! She is a fantastic help for our Conservator and Estate Administration clients. When she’s not in the offices on Bennett Ave., Shayny can be found ferociously studying, helping out at Coos Habitat for Humanity, and being a great Mom to her teenager.

Gabriel Dresser is a graduate of Marshfield High School and an active performing artist and a devoted big brother. When he's not helping out our clients, he can be found making music or playing a wide eyed young hero with the Coos Bay Shakespeare Festival.
